The Change/ Underwriting Tab
The Change/Underwriting Tab is where you'll enter additional information such as effective dates and provide answers to Underwriting questions.
Making Changes
Multiple Effective Dates
PRO TIP: When entering changes with different effective dates, it saves time to first apply the most common effective date to all the listed changes. Then, edit just the one effective date that is different. Once you've reviewed all information, click Next Activity below.
Multiple Effective Dates
Adding Multiple Effective Dates- Enter the effective date that applies to the majority of your changes.
- Type that date into the Effective Date field.
- Click the small blue 'a' button to apply this date to all the listed changes.
- Then, select the change from the list on the right that has a DIFFERENT effective date.
- Enter the correct date in the Effective Date field.
- Tab out of the field to apply the unique effective date to the selected change.
Here is where you'll wrap everything up in order to print the change form to submit it to the Home Office. Make sure to hover over each to learn more about what you must complete on the Change/Underwriting Tab.
