Club fair

The West High football season kicked off with an away game versus cross town rival, the City High Little Hawks, in the Battle for the Boot Aug. 30. The trojans shut out City High 30-0, bringing the boot back to West High after five years.

Students gather in the cafeteria for the annual Club Fair Sept. 15. The fair is held to advertise different clubs around the school to students. Leaders and members of different clubs were set up for students during Advisory and sixth period.

West High’s homecoming dance took place Sept. 27. The dance was themed “Roaring 20’s” with the gym was detected out in gold and red carpets at the gym’s entrance. Along with the dance floor, the dance featured multiple photo booths and concessions.

The girls cross country team started their season at Ashton Cross Country course Aug. 25. The team finished in first place in their first meet of the season and continued to finish high on the score board.

The 2025-2026 school year began on Monday, Aug. 25. The class of 2029 participated in freshmen orientation, where students toured the school, reviewed their schedules, received new Chromebooks and learned about the rules and expectations of West High School.
