September 11th, 1777: Battle of the Brandywine

April 19th, 1776: Battles of Lexington and Concord, First shots of the Revolutionary War fired.

July 4th, 1776: Declaration of Independence signed and published. December 25th-26th: Washington Crosses the Delaware
