Prima guerra punica (264–241 a.C.)

seconda guerra punica

Seconda guerra punica (218–202 a.C.) Canne, 216 a.C.).

terza guerra punica

Terza guerra punica (149–146 a.C.) → Roma assedia e distrugge Cartagine. La città viene rasa al suolo e i superstiti ridotti in schiavitù.

guerre civili

guerra civile prima fase

Cesare attraversa il Rubicone (49 a.C.), sconfigge Pompeo a Farsalo (48 a.C.). Pompeo fugge in Egitto e viene ucciso.

seconda parte guerra civile

guerre romano-barbariche

Contesto: Roma affronta popoli “barbari” lungo i confini dell’Impero (Germania, Gallia, Britannia, Danubio). 476 d.C.: deposizione dell’ultimo imperatore romano d’Occidente, Romolo Augustolo → fine dell’Impero romano d’Occidente.

Show enthusiasm, flash a smile, and maintain eye contact with your audience: 'The eyes, chico. They never lie'. Leave them speechless.

If you are going to present live, we recommend that you train your voice and practice: the best improvisation is always the most rehearsed!

You can create an outline to synthesize the content and use words that will be etched in your audience's minds.

Summary / Ideas to remember

It is often presented subtly at the beginning of the story to intrigue the audience and is resolved at the end.

We better grasp visual content. It is associated with cognitive and psychological mechanisms.

Visual content is a cross-cutting, universal language, like music.

Things enter through the eyes, the first image is what counts. We associate visual content with emotions.

We are capable of understanding images from millions of years ago, even from other cultures.

Our brain is prepared to consume visual content.
