Hello OC Community: We are enjoying a beautiful start to the year and as we roll into October the Cougars are ramping up for Spirit Week and our various Homecoming Games. As I walk the halls, the energy is contagious. As we celebrate 50 years as a school with our Year of Gratitude, I want to extend my gratitude to the community for your support of our mission. In my conversations with students, I appreciate the work ethic that they bring to school. Our students boldly face the rigor and struggles of their work with resolve and purpose. “Struggle is the essence of life, without it, no success is possible.” Thank you for your time. Please check out our district calendar to see the full list of exciting events coming up and enjoy our October Newsletter! Sincerely, Gary Linehan

Autumn by H.W. Longfellow
With what a glory comes and goes the year! The buds of spring, those beautiful harbingers Of sunny skies and cloudless times, enjoy Life’s newness, and earth’s garniture spread out; And when the silver habit of the clouds Comes down upon the autumn sun, and with A sober gladness the old year takes up His bright inheritance of golden fruits, A pomp and pageant fill the splendid scene.
