The creative thinker is often not the most organized person on the team. The expert will explain all the most important details to the team. That is the worst mistake you can make!

B. Choose the correct words to complete the rules.Use the before a superlative adjective. For adjectives that are one syllable, add -er / -est to the end of the word. For adjectives that are two syllables and end with -y, add -est / -iest to the end of the word. For adjectives that are two or more syllables, use most / the most before the adjective. Come superlatives are irregular: bad – the worst; good – better / the best.

C. Complete the sentences with the correct superlative form of the adjective in parentheses. Diana is the most creative (creative) person I know. The day I won this award was the happiest (happy) day of my life. Fernando is the tallest (tall) student in this class. Esmeralda is the most talkative (talkative) student in this class. The Green Garden is the best (good) restaurant in town.

D. IN PAIRS Discuss the questions. What was the most exciting day of your life? Who is the smartest person you know? What is the most beautiful place you know of? What is the worst thing to do on the weekend? (Write your own question.) – What is the funniest movie you’ve ever seen?
