CENTRAL PARKS PRESENTATION
START
Central Park is a large public park located in New York City. The park covers an area of 3.41 square kilometre . It is located in Manhattan, New York City. Construction began in 1857 and was completed in 1873. It is maintained by the Central Park Conservancy, which spends more than $200 million a year on its upkeep. The architects were Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux.
It is a natural space in the heart of Manhattan's forest of skyscrapers. It is crossed by several waterways, including the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir, which covers zero point forty-one square kilometre, and many migratory birds can be observed by visitors.
A 10 km road surrounds the park and is very quiet. It was built on a site where many poor people lived, mostly Irish and German immigrants.
The main innovation in the construction of Central Park was the separation of traffic lanes for pedestrians, horse riders, and recreational vehicles, so that all types of city residents and tourists could move around the city safely. Commercial traffic uses roads that are completely hidden by shrubs and bushes, so as not to disturb the rustic feel of the place.
