I had the privilege of working with Breaksea, a Perth-based theatre company, to create an illustration that inspired their children’s theatre project. My artwork was taken into classrooms, where kids used it as a springboard to develop their own stories and characters. From that creative collaboration grew 'The Magical Weedy Seadragon', a theatre production made by kids, for kids, which went on to be performed in theatres across Western Australia.
I was commissioned by Breaksea to illustrate the poster for Aliwah Bardinah, a theatre production celebrating culture, storytelling, and community. My illustration helped set the visual tone for the show, capturing its sense of place and spirit before it came to life on stage.
