Hydroponics
Hydroponics means that plants grow without soil. Instead their roots are placed in water with minerals and nutrients. The plants usually grow in greenhouses or special contrainers.

- It allows platns to grow faster
- It saves space

- This system are expensive
- Farmers need good technology and knowledge
- The plants can die very quickly

My choice
I choose this technique because i think hydroponics could be a good solution for the future, especially in places where the soil is poor or where there is not enough water. It shows that science can help us to produce food in new ways.
