How do I export articles or citations into RefWorks?
1. Select the articles you want to export from the database (the video demonstration uses the Scopus database). 2. Click “Export” at the top of the page.*Some databases, like Scopus, require you to first make an account to then export articles. 3. Select RefWorks (RIS). If there's no RefWorks option, download a RIS file and the steps will be the same. *Add abstract for future access.4. Click “Export” and the RIS file is downloaded to your computer. 5. In RefWorks, click “Add” and choose “Other file types.” 6. Select the file from your computer or drag and drop. 7. Import the file. 8. Assign to a folder (or new folder), or just import it. 9. Go to the Last Imported page to see the records just imported. *Note: In any database, look for the Export or Cite or Quotation Marks (“) button on the page to export.
