I think that learning about other cultures and the way these can influence one another, as well as to correctly appreciate them is incredibly important in order for me to learn about the world and see how aspects of my life are presented.
I think that in my life I have been influenced by other cultures outside of Mexico. Mainly on the entertainment that I consume, as a lot of the movies and series I like are from the USA.In a way, this entertainment has lead me to have certain beauty standards, and relationships expectations.
In general, during my day to day life I get to see and experience many different aspects that have come with cultural imperialism. While the respect and sharing of culture is great, many other things like religion and expectations can affect a how I feel about me and my identity. I like seeing traditions from many places, and I want to celebrate my culture too.
