Strategies for Transformative Education for art in Public spaces
Project Summary
STEP is a pedagogical project specialized in creative strategies for public spaces. Five European higher education institutions in art and design seek pedagogical innovation by integrating interdisciplinary and transnational approaches into their curriculum. Together they will carry out joint educational activities and develop a shared working structure.

→ Composition varies depending on the activity that is being discussed → Concrete planning of the activities and technical coordination between all partners. Meets before and after each main in-person event.→ Anticipate needs and risks related to the implementation of the activities, collect feedback on the hosted activities.
→ Oversees the overall direction of the project, and monitor progress, including financial management and risk mitigation.→ Ensures alignment with project objectives and evaluate its quality.
→ In each partner institution, a duo consisting of a teacher and an administrative coordinator → Actively monitors the project's progress. → Liaise with STEP coordinator and ensure timely information dissemination within their institution.

This group is in charge of identifying relevant events and platforms to disseminate the project's results.
Admin staff exchange knowledge and skills on student and staff mobility.
Teachers develop the pedagogical content of STEP and collectively steer the pedagogical axis during the three-year project. Specific work sessions on timely topics and specific skills will be prepared when the meetings are held on the camps sites.

STEP is co-funded by the European Union, as part of the Erasmus+ 2021-2027 Programm under 'KA220-HED - Cooperation partnerships in higher education'
ésadhar is the project coordinator and receive the entirety of the funds from the Agence Erasmus+ France. ésadhar is responsible for redistributing the funds between all partners and reporting to the European Commission.

The beneficiaries of the grant do not have the obligation to provide evidence of the actual costs incurred. However, they will be asked to report on their achievements and justify of their quality. Based on reports completed by the project coordinator at mid-term and at the end of the project, experts carry out the quality assessment and attribute a score to the project. If the score is insufficient, the amount of the grant shall be reduced. Any discrepancy between the project described in the application and the project implemented must be justified. Certain changes require an amendment to the agreement signed between ésadhar and the Agence Erasmus+ France. The project duration cannot, under any circumstances, be extended, and the final report must be submitted no later than 30 days after the project’s end (i.e., by December 30, 2028).

The activities of STEP are designed to be agile, and improved during the whole period of the project. It will be asked that each institution hosting a pedagogical activity (hybrid seminar and camps) draft a report after its completion (based on satisfaction surveys and self-assessment).
Partners are asked to regularly report on their communication and dissemination activities in an online Excel.
Partners are asked to regularly upload their expenses in an online Excel following a simple declarative system.

Results of the Pedagogy meetings
. A common evaluation tool for awarding ECTS credits to the students participating in the pedagogical activities . 8 shareable and open access documents gathering the pedagogical results of the 3 camps and 5 hybrid seminars . Validation of the pedagogical content (topics and set of competences) addressed in each camp and hybrid workshop . Creation of a drive with educational resources that will be made available to the entire community of students and teachers (for example: bibliographical references, documentation on pedagogical methodologies) . Drafting of 3 calls for applications (one for each camp) and 1 call for application for the exhibition . Selecting 120 students participating in the three camps and 30 participants in the exhibition

. Agreeing a common procedure for ECTS accreditation for all students participating in transnational pedagogical activities . Reflect on the implementation of micro-certification tools like Europass or Open Badges (infos to be found on Epale) . Exchange of good practices
Results of the dissemination meetings
. Identification of relevant events for STEP to participate in with expectation of being featured in at least 3 events at the European level. . Peer-to-peer promotion by STEP student ambassadors, they participate in at least 4 recruitment fairs. . Make the project known within our institutions, and actively act on its dissemination beyond its primary participants. . 3 online meetings open to the whole community of each institution that will take place at the beginning of the project, mid-term, and at the end.
