El present simple se usa para hablar de estados permanentes, rutinas y también para dar instrucciones o indicaciones. Examples: Guadalajara is the capital of Jalisco. I walk to my work every morning Then, mash the potatoes and add a cup of milk. Un error común es creer que el present simple sirve para hablar de las acciones o estados que ocurren en el momento preciso en el que se habla. Esto es incorrecto. Para estas situaciones se utiliza el presente continuo. En el present simple, cambia la conjugación para la tercera persona o sea she/he/it al verbo se le agrega "s". Sólo cuando son oraciones afirmativas.

Para estructurar párrafos en inglés con los 3 tiempos, es importante considerar el uso de cada tiempo. Además, de seguir las reglas de acuerdo a la conjugación que vamos a usar. A few years ago, Gaby worked in the museum near the park at the center of the city. Actually, she works at the post office she really enjoys her new job. Gaby told me, that her old job was boring, and now in the post office she needs to be so fast. Maybe later she will work at the general post office, where there's no customer service, and it will be exciting for her. En este párrafo, usamos los 3 tiempos verbales para relatar dónde trabajó Gaby, dónde trabaja actualmente y dónde trabajará. El spelling, implica precisión ya que debes decir con exactitud el sonido de cada letra y aunque sólo tengas un único error la palabra se anula. Para el spelling, lo primero es decir la palabra completa, después deletreas y finalizas diciendo nuevamente la palabra completa. Example: Bird B i r d Bird En los casos donde tenemos letras dobles, como las "o" de la palabra "book" agregaremos la palabra "double" seguida de la letra repetida. Ejemplo: Book B double o K Book
