La historia...
Eudoro Acevedo llega a una casa en el futuro y conoce a un hombre alto que le explica cómo la sociedad ha cambiado: ya no existen gobiernos, dinero, ciudades ni historia, solo el arte, la filosofía y la muerte voluntaria. Más tarde, otros llegan, vacían la casa y llevan al hombre al crematorio. Acevedo regresa a su tiempo con un extraño cuadro de ese mundo futuro.
Sí me gustó el cuento porque explora cómo los seres humanos estamos motivados por cosas como el dinero, la política y la sociedad, y contrasta eso con un futuro donde todo eso ya no existe. Me pareció interesante cómo el autor usa la conversación para hacernos reflexionar sobre lo que realmente nos da sentido en la vida.
Este cuento, como algunos de los otros que hemos leído, nos invita a cuestionar nuestra vida diaria y las cosas que nos importa, y a no darlas por sentadas. Me recordó especialmente a mi presentación de la semana pasada, porque me hizo pensar en cómo la vida es muy corto y tenemos que vivir en cada momento
