Event Visibility Options
When creating events, you can control who can see event details in Momentus Elite.
  • Hide Event: Use this option to make an event private. Users without “View Hidden Event Details” permission will only see limited information such as the event’s date, time, booked spaces, event type, status, contract status, and creator.
  • Show Name on Avails: This option controls how confirmed events appear on your avails. If toggled on, the event’s actual name will display instead of a generic label like “Confirmed Event.” However, if “Hide Event Details” is enabled, it will override this setting.
Task Templates
You can choose task templates to apply automatically when booking an event. If you use the same templates frequently, set them as defaults to save time and ensure consistency across events.

Booking Details
Use the final section of the Create Event slider to adjust the details of the booking.
  • Use the checkbox to determine if this is a prospect or not. A prospect is a preliminary booking status used before a tentative or hold. It indicates a possible event that has not yet reserved space on the calendar.
  • Below the Prospect checkbox, you can choose to automatically create functions for each space booked during event creation.
  • Use the buttons at the bottom of the slider to quickly add and edit the dates, rooms, times, usage, and status of the booking.
