The Vision
Where does the Journey Begin
First stop: What does excellent TLA look like CPD session for all staff.
This is proposed as a 1.5 hr session delivered by us, face to face across all sites
Followed by a session will introduce the ‘Lesson Road Map’
Next stop: Diagnostic (Crossroads)
Based on the HOW2 barriers to progress questionnaire.
This will be our starting point (TNA) to ensure we can address the distance travelled and avoid a ‘one size fits all approach’.
This will be used to drive momentum as it will mean staff can start working on their HOW2 techniques. Some will get straight on the road to their next destination, others may need directing elsewhere.
This may highlight support required outside of this i.e. digital skills, SEND training
This could lead to an initial ‘M.O.T’ for some who need extra support
Some staff will be required to complete a ‘Sequencing’ session
The Journey Approach
This is our vision to provide tutors with a framework to move from consistently good to great 25/26
This is not a ‘short’ trip, this is a long distance journey.
Road Map metaphor: everyone on the same journey, to the same destination but at their own pace
Recognition: Bronze, Silver, Gold progression
Pause point before developing 26/27
Recognising Milestones
Bronze: engagement & foundation Purpose: Motivating recognition system for all staff
