Instructions:
- Read each case scenario carefully.
- Determine which personality disorder is represented (based on DSM-5 features).
- Answer the nursing application question(s).
- Keep track of the clue given with each correct answer.
- Combine all six clues to create your final escape code.
- Submit your escape code to Blackboard once you make it through!
You and your nursing team are working the evening shift on a behavioral health unit. Suddenly, the electronic locks malfunction, and six clients are in the dayroom with you. Each case holds a clue. When all cases are solved, the final code is revealed. The only way to “escape” is to:
- Correctly identify the personality disorder each client represents.
- Apply your nursing knowledge to solve the puzzle questions.
- Collect the hidden clues from each case.
- Put all six clues together to reveal the escape code.
