What is the Project Approach?
The Project Approach is an organized and structured way of managing projects, which helps to plan, execute, and control each part of a project efficiently. It consists of dividing the project into clear stages, which facilitates its orderly development and the achievement of the established objectives. This approach is widely used in areas such as education, business, research, product development, and other fields.
1. ANALYZE
1. Detect the Problem or Need: The first step is to identify what is causing the need for a project. This is the time to look at the context and understand why the project is necessary. 2. Information and Research: In this step, all relevant information is gathered to better understand the problem or need. This includes: - Researching previous data on the problem. - Reviewing historical information or previous reports that may provide more clarity.

3. Search for Possible Solutions: Once the problem is well understood, the next step is to think of different ways to solve it. Here, several potential solutions are explored, without worrying yet about which one is best. Some activities in this step include: -Brainstorming to generate multiple solutions. -Consulting with experts or people who have faced similar problems. -Evaluating technological, strategic, or organizational options that could be applicable. 4. Choose the Solution: Once several solutions have been considered, it is time to select the most appropriate one. In this step, options are evaluated based on criteria such as: Feasibility: Is it possible to implement the solution with the available resources? -Cost: What is the cost of implementation and maintenance? -Impact: How effective will the solution be in solving the problem? -Time: How long will it take to implement? The goal is to make an informed decision that allows you to move forward to the next step.
2. DESING
In the Design phase of the Project Approach, the objective is to plan how the problem will be solved. It can be divided into two steps: 1. Design the Solution Here you define what will be done to solve the problem. This includes deciding what the solution will look like, what features it will have, and, if necessary, creating prototypes to visualise it. This is the time to think about what technologies, processes, or strategies will be used to carry it out. 2. Prepare a Work Plan Once the solution is clear, the next step is to plan how it will be implemented. This involves defining the tasks to be done, the resources needed (people, money, tools), establishing a schedule with key dates, and managing potential risks. In short, design is about creating the solution and then organising everything necessary to execute it effectively.
3. BUILD
Build the product is the process of creating and developing a final product from its initial conception to its functional version ready to be launched or delivered to users. It is a term commonly used in the development of software, technological products, or even physical products, and encompasses all the steps necessary to turn an idea or prototype into a functional and usable solution.
4. EVALUATE
1. Check the Results:
Verify the accuracy and relevance of the results obtained in relation to the project objectives. This includes reviewing, validating, and ensuring that the results are consistent and error-free.
2. Presentation and Assessment:
Present the results in a clear and understandable manner to stakeholders, assessing the impact of the findings. This involves organising the information visually and conducting a critical evaluation of the project, highlighting limitations and recommendations.
3. Write up the Report:
Document the entire process and results formally, detailing the methodology, results, analysis and conclusions. The report should be clear, accessible and serve as a reference for future projects. This approach ensures that the results are validated, effectively communicated and fully documented.
