Come si sono formati i tessuti;

Un tessuto è un gruppo integrato di cellule dalle caratteristiche simili, che svolgono la stessa comune funzione. Le cellule eucariote (le più evolute) formano i cosidetti organismi pluricellulari per sfruttare al meglio le proprie funzionalità. Infatti, tutte le cellule del corpo umano sono organizzate in tessuti. Nel nostro corpo, come in quello di tutti i mammiferi,troviamo quattro tipi di tessuti: epiteliale, connettivo, muscolare e rugoso.

Il tessuto epiteliale

Il tessuto epiteliale è il tessuto che ricopre le superfici interne ed esterne del corpo, ricoprendone la parte più esterna (pelle), e nelle ghiandole. Essendo a contatto con l'ambiente esterno è facilmente lesionabile ma è capace di rigenerarsi da solo.Esso è costituito da sottili lamine o spessi strati di cellule di forma molto regolare strettamente unite. Esistono tessuti epiteliali diversi; alcuni più semplici altri invece stratificati (sovrapposti). In comune questi hanno: le giunzioni cellulari (grazie alle quali sono strettamente connesse), la membrana basale (struttura di proteine e carboidrati, è la base di appoggio per la costruzione dell'epitelio e permette gli scambi con altri tessuti), la capacità di replicarsi e l'assenza di vasi sanguigni.

I principali tipi di tessuti epiteliali

Si distinguono tre tipi di tessuto epiteliale: - epitelio di rivestimento,che contiene strati sottili di cellule localizzati sulle parti interne ed esterne del corpo e ha la funzione di barriera meccanica protettiva o per secernere sostanze protettive come nel tratto urinario. - epitelio ghiandolare che produce e secerna sostanze all'interno o all'esterno o ancora nel flusso sanguigno. Ne sono un esempio le ghiandole salivari, sudoripare o lacrimali. -epitelio sensoriale che, costituito di speciali cellule che recepisconodegli stimoli dall'esterno e li trasmettono al sistema nervoso.

Il tessuto muscolare

Il tessuto muscolare consiste in una rete di cellule che contengono strutture proteiche chiamate miofibrille, che sono stimolate dal sistema nervoso ad allungarsi o associarsi creando il movimento.La forza generata attiva il movimento umano esterno e interno. Esistono tre tipologie di tessuto muscolare: - il muscolo scheletrico striato, chiamato così per il suo aspetto a bande alterne osservabile al microscopio. Esso è responsabile di alcune azioni volontarie (correre, sorridere) e di alcune involontarie (respirazione, espressioni facciali e tremori); - il muscolo cardiaco è costituito da cellule diverse, più piccole e monucleate che formano tra loro giunzioni serrate e si intrecciano in una rete tridimensionale di strappi; - il muscolo liscio, che si trova all'interno di rivestimenti cavi, è provvista di un solo nucleo e le cellule di actina e miosina non sono organizzati regolarmente. Le singole cellule sono unite da giunzioni serrate che permettono loro di contrarsi in maniera coordinata.

I tessuti connettivi

I tessuti connettivi sono tessuti abbondanti nel corpo umano con funzioni di sostegno, connessione e protezione di altri tessuti e organi, come ossa, cartilagine, tendini,legamenti e sangue. Sono costituiti da cellule disperse in un'abbondante matrice extracellulare, che contiene fibre di collagene ed elastiche e una sostanza fondamentale liquida o gelatinosa. A sua volta questo fluido contiene acqua, glicosoamminoglicani, proteoglicani e glicoproteine. Inoltre esistono tre tipi di fibre sospese in tale sostanza: fibre collagene, fibre reticolari e fibre elastiche. Si distinguono 4 tipi di tessuto connettivo: - tessuto connettivo lasso, che possiede alti livelli di sostanza fondamentale (tessuto adiposo); - tessuto connettivo denso, che ha numerose fibre di collagene e meno sostanza fondamentale. Un esempio è dato dai tendini; - tessuto connettivo fluido, composto al 90 per cento da acqua come nel caso del sangue e della linfa; -tessuto connettivo di supporto che è forte e solido ed è rappresentato dalle ossa e dalla cartilagine.

I connettivi specializzati

Altri tessuti connettivi sono: - il tessuto osseo, caratterizzato da una matrice extracellulare mineralizzata che gli conferisce durezza e resistenza, fondamentale per il sostegno del corpo e la protezione degli organi. è considerato un tessuto dinamico poiché subisce un costante rimodellamento grazie agli osteoblasti e osteoclasti; - il sangue, che è l'unico tessuto connettivo fluido ed è formato da cellule che sono disperse nel plasma; - la cartilagine, formata da condrociti, che producono una matrice extracellulare consistente e gommosa.

Il sistema nervoso

Il tessuto nervoso è un tipo di tessuto fondamentale per tutti gli animali, composto da neuroni (cellule specializzate nella ricezione, elaborazione e trasmissione di impulsi elettrici) e cellule della gria (o nevroglia).La sua funzione principale è quella di riceverestimoli, elaborarli e trasmettere risposte tramite impulsi nervosi e neurotrasmettitori, coordinando così le funzioni del corpo e dando origine a funzioni psichiche come memoria e coscenza

Componenti del tessuto nervoso

I componenti del sistema nervoso sono : - neuroni, unità funzionali del sistema nervoso, responsabili della trasmissione degli impulsi. Sono costituiti da un corpo cellulare (soma) e prolungamenti (dendriti e assoni) -cellule della glia, che svolgono funzioni di supporto, isolamento e nutrizione per i neuroni, tra cui astroglia(supporto strutturale), Oligodendroglia e cellule di Schwann ( producono la guaina mielinica che isola gli assoni e aumenta la velocità della trasmissione degli impulsi e microglia (funzione immunitaria)

Funzionamento del tessuto nervoso

Il tessuto nervoso svogle le seguenti funzioni: 1) eccitabilità, di fatti i neuroni sono eccitabili e possono rispondere a stimoli chimici o fisici convertendoli in impulsi elettrici 2)conducibilità, secondo cui l'impulso nervoso viene trasmesso lungo la cellula nervosa e tra cellule diverse. 3)sinapsi tramite quale avviene la comunicazione tra neuroni, infatti giunzioni specializzate dove una cellula eccitata rilascia neurotrasmettitori che agiscono sulla cellula ricevente

Organizzazione del tessuto nervoso

Il sistema nervoso si organizza in due sistemi principali: -Sistema Nervoso Centrale (SNC), che comprende l'encefalo (cervello e cervelletto) e il midollo spinale. - Sistema Nervoso Periferico (SNP), che è formato dai nervi che si estendono al di fuori del SNC. Il tessuto nervoso è organizzato in: -Sostanza grigia, la quale contiene i corpi cellulari dei neuroni, fibre amieliniche e mieliniche, e cellule gliali. -Sostanza bianca, che è composta principalmente da assoni mielinizzati e da gellule gliali, conferendo il tipico colore bianco.
