This was the kingdom that took over Babylon and became the next superpower of the world

Worship in both kingdoms

Babylonian worship

Worship in the Babylonian Empire was a complex, polytheistic system centered on a large pantheon of gods and goddesses. Religious practices evolved from earlier Sumerian and Akkadian traditions and were managed by a specialized priesthood within monumental temples.

Medo Persia Worship

During the Medo-Persian Empire (550–330 BCE), worship practices were a mix of the official state religion, Zoroastrianism, and the diverse local faiths the empire tolerated. The primary religious customs were centered on Zoroastrian beliefs but did not get rid of the beliefs of conquered peoples, including the Jews.
