Language skills are a necessity and a right for EVERYONE – that is one of the main messages of the European Day of Languages.
Language learning benefits all ages — even knowing a few words can help you connect with others and enjoy new opportunities.
The aim is to promote Europe’s rich linguistic diversity, encourage learning of a wider range of languages, and support multilingualism for active democratic participation.
What is the European Day of Languages?
The European Day of Languages is an annual initiativel unched by the Council of Europe and the European Union .
