Conclusion
How do the murals give the essence of the Chicano Mouvement? As we see, murals show us the essence of Chicano Mouvement with differents representations of their culture and history such as the Guadalupe Hidalgo treaty, the representation of them planting the flag in the American soil, and Mexican symbols ( Corn, Adelitas, Virgen de Guadalupe...). How do the murals reveal how the mouvement has evolved? We can see a clear evolution in the murals. At first they were made to send a political message. The Chicano wanted to be included in the community. Then murals started to transmit a cultural message. We can see their history, their culture, their life as Chicanos in the murals. How they had to fit in another country and progress. The murals become more artistical than political.
