Focused on personal growth, career progression, and general development More directive, offering advice, sharing personal experiences and guidance based on the mentor's own expertise and career journey Helpful for connecting to industry networks or expanding sector knowledge And... If both parties are happy, the relationship may be long-term or open-ended It can be done in reverse - with a younger or less experienced person mentoring a senior colleague
