Born long ago, in a small Icelandic town, it was clear from an early age that Arthur was always going to be a bit different.
As soon as he was old enough to explore the forest, he showed a great interest in the creatures that lived there! At night, while the villagers gathered around the great fire, Arthur would sit and listen to Atrix. Atrix was the wise, woman of the town and she would tel him wondrous stories of ancient magic and creatures.
Arthur soon began to walk into the forest on his own in search of adventures! He even started to carry with him some of the unusual items he had found along the way...
During one adventure, Arthur climnbed up an ancient tower in which he found.... the hand of TIME! It had the power to freeze anyone who touched it.
On the left, Arthur received a special feather from Wind Weaver after he helped return her egg. On the right, after helping to end the war between the fairies and the goblins, he got an enchanted staff!
These mysterious creatures have been called in different ways such as mouros or mouras, Asturian Xanas, Galician Meigas or commonly Fairies, Gnomes, Goblins and Elves

One day, while Arthur attempted to track down a rare species of magical worm he was startled by a terrible howl!
A moment later, he was plunged into darkness! A huge shaped leaped over him and dissapeared.
One day, while Arthur attempted to track down a rare species of magical worm he was startled by a terrible howl!
Arthur quickly climbed up the nearest tree and poked his head through the canopy.Right there, heading straight to his town, a MONSTROUS, black, wolf!
Arthur could only watch in horror as the wolf put out the greatt fire before it leaped back into the darkness of the forest and dissapeared.
Arthur hurried back to the town. It was suddenly so cold and everyone's teeth were chattering. Everyone gathered aroudn Atrix, the wise old woman, when she began to speak.
"Without the great fire, our town will be frozen solid in less than a week!" Atrix warned."But there is a way we can be saved..." she continued.
"Across the sea lies the land of the gods! And there lives a god with a hammer. He will be able to relight our fire!"

As the townsfolk looked around they realized a slight problem....
"Arthur isn't hurt...." says one of his classmates.But the townfolk had something else to say.
That night Arthur stayed wide awake. Maybe he had led the wolft straight to his town?
Should Arthur go out in the middle of the night?

Arthur took a deep breath and decided he must go find the god of storms. He packed his bag and headed to the harbour.
What will Arthur take in his suitcase?

Afer a long journey, Arthur finally reached the great hall. "Welcome young traveller" a voice boomed.
The god of thunder listened to Arthur and explained the wolf was named Fenrir.
Thor explained that the only way to stop Fenrir was by making a rope built with two incredibly rare items......
Can you think of two magical items Arthur will need to get? Try to make them impossible! For example, the silver web of a spider and the heartbeat of a flower.
