The formation of a caste system...
Over thousands of years, the social structure of the Aryan culture became formalized into a caste system. In this system, a person is born into a certain class, or caste, and remained there throughout their life. The caste system determined what type of job a person could have, and whom a person could communicate with and even marry! Today, India still has inequality due to the legacy of the caste system.
