Let me read the Example Text.

Hermelin was a detective mouse. He lived in Emily’s attic at 33 Offley Street. He was a brave mouse and he liked to unpick perplexing problems. One morning, the street was in a flap! Priceless things had gone missing. People had lost dishes, jewels, glasses and pets. They had all disappeared! Don’t you think that is odd? Luckily, Hermelin found the lost items.

Hermelin wrote a letter to each person and he told them where their lost things were. The people of Offley Street were thrilled! They agreed to have a party to say thank you to Hermelin. However, they did not know it was a mouse who had written the letters.

The next day Hermelin saw the invitation. He felt excited and a little uneasy. When the people saw him they shouted, “A mouse! A horrid mouse!” They were mean and unkind. People jumped out of the way. Hermelin was nearly hurt. They did not like mice and said that mice were pests! Hermelin ran for his life. What could he do now?

Hermelin ran back to Emily’s attic. He was so unhappy and he went to sleep in his cheese box. In the morning there was a note from Emily. It said, “Join me! We can be detectives.” Hermelin felt happy again. Now Hermelin and Emily were a team. Where might their adventures take them next?
