Each group of settlers will begin with 7 resources AKA phonemes. You can use your resources to map words on plots of land in exchange for money. You can use money to buy roads, houses, and a school. You must have 2 roads to build a house. You must have 2 homes to build a school. There must be a road between each house and the school.

On your turn you turn: 1. Draw another resource. 2. Trade a phoneme with another settler group (if you want to and they agree to the trade). 3. Map a word with your phonemes to earn $$ 4. Purchase & build if you are able. But you only have 1:30 to complete your turn

Welcome to the unexplored island of CATAN!

As you and your fellow explorers gaze across the uninhabited landscape, you quickly realize that this unique land arrangement provides ample space for each of you to put down roots. You race off to establish your respective communities by by nuturing trade relationships and building wealth. Object: Be the first settler group with a completed community consisting of 2 roads, 2 homes, and a school. Good luck explorers!
