Scott monument

The Scott Monument is a Gothic Revival monument built in honor of Walter Scott, a great writer born in the city of Edinburgh. It is located in Princes Street Gardens. The tower built of sandstone is 61.1 meters high and a spiral staircase of 287 steps leads to the top. A statue of Walter Scott stands between the four columns of the tower.

Nelson's monument

The monument was built between 1807 and 1816 to commemorate Nelson's victory over the French and Spanish fleets. The building is 32 meters high and has 143 steps leading to a public viewing gallery.

The Sea Dragon

Angus MacMorrow, a young boy who lived in Lord Killin's grand manor in 1942 on the shores of Loch Ness. His father is away at the front during World War II and he is desperate to see him return. One day, while collecting shells by the Loch, he finds a strange egg which he brings back to the manor, without knowing what species it is. Later, when the egg hatches, Angus finds himself face to face with a strange, unknown sea creature for which he takes a liking and names it Crusoe. He must make sure to keep this new friend a secret so that nothing happens to him, especially as he grows rapidly

My favorite moment

I really liked the moment when the dog chases the baby dragon. At the end of the film, the dragon, which has become giant, scares the dog. It's really funny because it's like revenge from Crusoe.

Texas

Texas is a Scottish pop rock band founded in 1985 in Glasgow. Their name refers to the film Paris, Texas by Wim Wenders, released in 1984. The 3 most memorable songs of this group are: -Black Eyed Boy(1997) -In Our Lifetime(1999) -Summer Son(1999) Texas was formed in December 1985 by singer Sharleen Spiteri, guitarist Ally McErlaine then from Hipsway, bassist Johnny McElhone and drummer Stuart Kerr.
