This is where I'm going to describe my glasses, and what the world looks like without them.

This slide will talk about what self reliance is and what it can be defined as.

Use information from 'The importance of Self-Reliance' to show why it is necessary

This is where I will relate self-reliance to learning in college.

Use information from 'Adapted Self-Determination Measure and College Student First-Year Achievement' to connect the two

Self-reliance is espeically important to develop before and during college, as most students have never been on their own before. So if there motivation for doing schoolwork or extracurricular activites then their grades will suffer.

This where I'm going to into further detail of why you need self-reliance in college.

Use quotes and information from 'Research on the relationship between college students' learning autonomy, psychological needs, and self-control' and ' The relationship between academic motivation and academic achievement students' to describe how levels of self-reliance can predict acheivemnt in college and then salary.
