Shelling in BOS Weighing

Introduction

• Shelling in BOS Weighing is only available in Online mode. • It allows you to manage harvested maize lots directly from BOS data.

Shelling Settings

Each lot in BOS comes with information that can be linked in BOS Weighing.

Shelling follows same workflow as the scale module. In settings of shelling, choose:

• Plot Code: generated by BOS;
• Contractor Plot Code: an alternative, added to a plot in the plotlist; it is a free text field, so it's more meaningfull, especially for temporary workers.

Shelling Workflow

The Shelling module works the same way as the Scale module:

1. Enter the Plot Code or Contractor Plot Code.
2. BOS retrieves all harvested lots from this plot.
3. Update the stock of the harvested lots.
4. (Optional) Print a label.
