Documenting Your Work experience
Work Experience Hours Log
Completing Your Hours Log and Final Reflection
To earn the Maine Career Exploration Badge, you’ll need to document your work experience in two important ways:
- Work Experience Hours Log – Keep track of the hours you spend in your work experience placement. This log will show your commitment and help verify the time you’ve invested in building real-world skills.
- Final Reflection – After completing your hours, you’ll write a reflection about what you learned from the experience. This is your chance to think about the skills you developed, the challenges you overcame, and how this experience connects to your future goals.
By completing both the Hours Log and the Final Reflection, you’ll be able to clearly demonstrate your growth and achievements. These steps not only help you qualify for the Maine Career Exploration Badge but also prepare you to talk confidently about your skills with colleges, training programs, and future employers.
