R.J. Palacio was born in New York in 1963.Before writing "Wonder", she worked like graphic designer and art director; she has designed thousand of book covers and she has even illustrated lots of her own books.
PLOT
Wonder tells the story of a guy calls August Pullman who was born with a facial difference.
August starts to attend for the first time a new school indeed until 10 years old he stayed at home learning thanks his mum: a teacher.
When he started to attend the new school he quickly becomes subject to bullying, he overcomes everything thanks to new friendships.

WHY I HAVE CHOOSEN THIS BOOK
I read this book when I was 12 in Italian and I loved it for its motivating story.It teaches you to accept the diversity and improve youself thanks to it I decided to read it again.

"I liked reading again this book even I had already read it when I was 12. It can be considerated a child book but it is able to teach you the power of friendships. It contains powerfull messages that invite you to think about own actions and how these influence other pople.Always a good book for every age"
