Structural Features

Structural features are the building blocks of a graphic novel. They determine how the story is organized on the page and how the reader moves through the narrative. These features control pacing, perspective, and the flow of information, guiding the way we experience the story. Understanding structural features helps us see how visual storytelling is crafted and why it is just as deliberate as written text.
