About Our Resources
As we research topics for the unit studies, we refer to educational websites that we trust to be factual, such as National Geographic or NASA. We also draw from our own personal knowledge and experiences, or consult experts we know. Sometimes the lesson text includes information that comes from the videos included in the lesson or from books, games, or other similar sources. We do our best to find current information on all of the topics in our unit studies, and we do not include any information until we are confident it is current and accurate.
International Space Station (ISS) Worksheets
This is a reminder to do your worksheets now! 1. Challenge Question 2. Foldable 3. The International Space Station (ISS) History and Coloring Page.
A Note to Teachers
This lesson is a small part of a larger unit study all about the solar system. We have split up each lesson in case educators need only one lesson as a supplement to their own curriculum. If you would like to see the entire Solar System Unit Study, you can see it Our lessons offer interactive elements, short blocks of text, videos, images, mini-games, gamified quizzes, activities, and worksheets (varies by lesson). We gamify as much as we can! We do not create the lessons with the intent of aligning with Common Core Standards. All lessons are self-paced, kid-friendly, and secular, with voiceover built in. This lesson is geared toward Grade 3. We recommend that you work through the lesson together with your child. Adult supervision is recommended for all of the activities throughout the entire unit study.
