THE GARDENS OF SAINT CARLOS

The garden was built on the site of a fortified castle from the 14th century, destroyed 400 years later as a result of an explosion of a barrel of gunpowder. Recognized as a historical and artistic place due to its romantic aura, the garden is home to numerous species of trees, and to the monument with the tomb of the general sir John Moore..
