What is the SAT?

The SAT is a standardized test that many colleges require as part of the application process. The SAT is a computer-based multiple choice test. It has multiple sections that cover reading, writing, and math. The test takes about 2 1/2 to 3 hours. You will receive 3 scores:

• Your Reading/Writing Score will be from 200-800.
• Your Math Score will be from 200-800.
• Your Total Score will be from 400-1600. It is made up of the sum of your Reading/Writing Score and Math Score.

• You only have to fill out the questions that have a red star next to them.
• You can skip any questions that does not have a red star next to it
