Instructions: 1. Choose a real news story from summer 2025 (not the classroom recaps). 2. Structure your presentation: • Start with a short introduction (Good evening, here is today’s news…) • Give the WHO / WHAT / WHERE / WHEN. • Add details (numbers, quotes, consequences). • Use at least two passive sentences (The trophy was won by… / A new album was released by…). • End with a short conclusion (That was today’s news, thank you for watching.). 3. Use key vocabulary: headline, breaking news, announce, celebrate, was/were + past participle, etc. 4. Speak like a journalist: clear voice, pauses, eye contact with your audience.
