You don't need to report this to Girlguiding HQ.Senior volunteers looking in to the concern do not need to write an investigation report, but must still speak to all parties and send a written notice confirming the concern as resolved. If the concern was originally reported to HQ, the senior volunteer must send a copy of the written notive detailing the informal resolution to the safe practice team.

Inform the emergency services i.e. the police. Then contact the Girlguiding HQ safeguarding team as soon as possible. Get in touch during office hours on +44 (0) 207 834 6242ext. 3037 or email safeguarding@girlguiding.org.uk For out of hours emergencies, call +44 (0) 750 803 2997 (5-10pm Monday to Friday, 9am-10pm Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays).
