Where do you usually keep your souvenirs at home? Do you show them?
Do you ever look back at your souvenirs to remember your holiday?
Do you think collecting the same type of souvenir makes trips more memorable?

How to play
The aim of these vocabulary games is to either teach or check how much your ss know. There are two types of exercises that check the recognition and then the knowledge of the words. T can use each activity separately or combine them any way they want. The activities are based on a matching exercise - flashcards and names or write-in exercise - where ss need to write the correct word. Some exercises also aim to activate the vocabulary and encourage ss to speak.
* Farm animals
* Means of transport
Slide 6 and 7 contain the words connected with means of transport. The Ss need to match the names of the means of transport in two different exercises. The first one makes the images disappear but the other one focuses on recording the spelling. Slide 8 is a written exercise where ss need to write the words correctly. T can use this exercise with or without a timer. The timer can add some competition to the lesson so that ss could learn the words better. Follow-up: Use these pictures as prompts for ss to talk about the differences between the means of transport and compare them.
Slide 3 and 4 contain the words connected with farm animals. SS need to match the images to the names and check if they are correct. They also need to write the correct words under the images. They can be used as an introductory exercises or the revision ones. Slide 5 contains a listening exercise where ss hear a short description of the animals and match them.
