Dear students, How are you? I want to tell you about my summer holidays. First, in June, I went to Liverpool (England) and visited two good friends: Mark and Kieran. It was fun! After that, in Logroño, I went to the swimming pool a lot. Then, in August, I went to San Francisco (California) for 2 weeks. I saw the Golden Gate bridge and the cable car. SF is an amazing city! I want to hear about your summer too! Miss you! Moisés

1. Greeting and opening

2. Tell about July.
First, in July, I visited... (a person, a city or country) and saw ... (a person, an animal, a building) I stayed in... for 2 weeks I also went to... (a place) It was fun! / It was amazing! I loved it!
Some examples: I visited Málaga (Andalucía) I visited London (England) I saw my friend Pablo I saw a museum I saw a famous street. I saw the Eiffel tower I also went to the swimming pool I went to the beach/park

3. Tell about August.
Then, in August, I went to... (a place) with... (person) and saw/visited... (a person, a building, a festival) I stayed in... (a hotel?) I also did sport and played games. I read a... (book, comic) It was great!
Some examples: I went to Galicia with my family. I visited a museum We went to the beach I stayed in a hotel for 5 days. I read a nice book. I also did sport and played videogames.
4. Closing / Farewell

What is a postcard?
It is a small card that you can send to someone by mail. On the front there is a picture (of a place, a city, or something nice). On the back, you write a short message on the left side and the address of the person on the right side. You just put a stamp and send it!
