INTRODUCTION

Verb patterns are rules that tell us how verbs are followed by other verbs in a sentence.Some verbs are followed by the -ing form, some by the infinitive (to + verb), and others can take both but with a change in meaning. Example: I enjoy reading. She wants to play soccer.
