You can compare two sets of question sets by selecting the compare option. This will pull up to versions alongside eachother where the differences will be highlighted.

Once you´ve comapred verions you can then revert back to previous versions of your question set.

The unique identifier for the question, used to link formulas, lookups, and logic can be added here. These should be short, obvious and with no additional characters e.g “_”.
These get locked once created. This is to avoid unnecessarily changing system IDs which can impact the rest of your scheme. If needed, you can change your system ID but remember to be aware of any knock on effects this might have.

Towards the bottom you can add your question title & description. These can include basic HTML such as bolding if needed. A help tip can be added to provide additional information. This will appear when hovered over on the quote journey. Show on: Here you can decide which record types this question will appear on. Most questions are normally needed for all records.

Hidden: If you´d like this question to not appear on the quote journey
Read Only: If there is no answer needed
Required: Must be answered
Reset If Hidden: If the question is answered and then the user goes back and changes their mind, then the question is reset to null or the default value.

The Value tab will allow you to predefine an answer fields or allow you to create answer options when you select a dropdown type question.

Add answer options along with a value that the answer will be stored as in other areas of your scheme. Select a default answer if needed and you can add autocomplete ability. This will allow users on the quote journey to start typing their answer. This will filter down the list as they type to allow for a fast quote journey experience.

Add your validations in here. They´ll be highlighted in blue until they are saved. You can also drag them and reorder them so that they are sitting as needed.

From here you can set max page numbers, the link text when adding a new page and the key question. The key question will be the property address, vessel name or similar - whatever helps idenitify the individual entity.

Add your charges in here. Anything added in here will show up on your MultiPage repeated per entity. These are the fields that will show on your matrix tab but they will all be populated using your rating file.

Add your modifiers in here. These will be fields like your loads and discounts. Again, these will show per entity and will be populated using your rating file.

Add your risk groups in the bottom left of the Question Set Editor.

You will automatically be provided with a "Main" risk group. You can ignore this if it's not needed. Each risk group will be given a unique ID. This can be used to set commission later in the rating file. Drag, order and colour your risk groups as needed.

Name your risk group and provide a name you would like it to be shown as on your reports. Select the default insurer from the drop down and provide a colour for this risk group. This is the colour it will show as on your matrix tab. At the bottom you can select if this is an add on or not.

On the modifiers tab add any loads and discounts that won´t be calulcated per MultiPage. It's easier to add all your loads and discounts as loads here and specify in the rating file if it is a discounts using a "-" e.g. -25 = 25% discounts.

The Question Set Editor will be locked when a user is editing the question set. To edit the question set, the other user will need to leave the editor to allow you to begin editing

Additional actions can be found in the top right such as tax and fee setting & importing and exporting.

Rename your tax field and set your cancellation method. Renaming your tax field will change the name on your matrix tab. The Policy Fee tab will work in the same way.

You can import question sets from another scheme using the import tool. Simply export the question set and import here. If you export your question set using the old QSE, the file will be in XML. Exporting using the new QSE, the file will be in JSON. Be sure to import using JSON files. XML files cannot be imported into here.
