Masses on ultrasound should be seen and evaluated in three planes. There are 5 morphologic descriptors used when reporting a mass seen on ultrasound. These descriptors include: shape, orientation, margin, echo pattern and posterior features.

Pleural effusion
There are multiple etiologies that contribute to pleural fluid formation, and of the combinations of etiologies observed congestive heart failure was the most frequent contributor. Exudative effusions are more common than transudates when bilateral effusions are present. Malignancy is a common etiology of exudative effusions.
Here is my first file !. Maybe I should write it down somewhere so I remember.I have to find the other two.
