THE 3 LOST FILES

You have to bring 3 ultrasound files to WONCA Europe 2026 in Paris . Your plane leaves soon. It seems the files have been lost ! To find them in time, you'll have to solve some challenges, use your knowledge, and prove that ultrasound in general practice speaks to you.. First, ask your secretary

You noted your password somewhere...

You enter the office of Betty, the medical secretary.

Yes, your files are in my computer. I don't have the code to your file; you were the one who figured out the password... you know... It was the initials of terms of description of ultrasound masses . S as SHAPE, but I can't remember the others...

You can use my I pad and my computer !

Eu-Tirads

Inclusion of Doppler assessment is not recommanded in the Eu-TIRADS score.
"doppler" is second part of my password for my yellow file

Describing US images
  • Shape

Masses on ultrasound should be seen and evaluated in three planes. There are 5 morphologic descriptors used when reporting a mass seen on ultrasound. These descriptors include: shape, orientation, margin, echo pattern and posterior features.

Pleural effusion

There are multiple etiologies that contribute to pleural fluid formation, and of the combinations of etiologies observed congestive heart failure was the most frequent contributor. Exudative effusions are more common than transudates when bilateral effusions are present. Malignancy is a common etiology of exudative effusions.

Here is my first file !. Maybe I should write it down somewhere so I remember.I have to find the other two.
