Noble Warriors is Established
Noble: “But the noble men makes noble plans, and by noble deeds they stand.” (Isaiah 32:8) Warriors: “…like arrows in the hands of a warrior,” we want to equip men to raise up and release arrows to do “damage for the kingdom.” (Psalm 127:4-5)
SEBTS Initiative
Through relationships built during his pursuit of a Doctor of Ministry degree at SEBTS, Mike Young is given the opportunity to invest in future pastors and leaders with men’s discipleship mentorship training through the seminary’s student life platform over the next two years.
Courageous Movie Mobilization
Noble Warriros partners with The North American Mission Board to utilize their network of churches to mobilize volunteers to distribute 1,500 free 'Courageous' movie tickets in 23 days to bless first responders in the Richmond, VA area. It took 440 volunteer hours from 75 people at four theaters. Mike Young is a movie extra, wearing a shrriff's uniform in the funeral scene.
Manger Build
Manger Build - DecemberBethia United Methodist Church in Chesterfield, VA is the launch site for the first Noble Warriors Manger Build, a collaborative event at the church for men’s ministry team. By 2008, 280 mangers are built at 21 churches. In 2014, a smaller manger kit, Dad's Tools, is developed. In 2021, 902 of these kits are sold. Life-size mangers have been built by men at churches in over 35 states!
Noble Man Conference Launch
Noble Warriors Partners with Virginia Men of Vision to launch 'Leading Noble Men,' our conference for pastors and men's ministry leaders. We also rebranded our men's conferences as the 'Noble Man Conference.' Today, the conference is knowns as, the 'Noble Warriors Men's Conference.'
First Online Training Course Created
'Summertime is Leadership Training Time' becomes the first Noble Resources Online Training course to expand the reach of the ministry beyond Virginia.
(The COVID Years) The Noble Man Podcast is Created
To provide continued connection, the new Noble Man Podcast provides a way to continue equipping and encouraging men during a time of COVID restrictions. Since its launch, more than 150 episodes have been produced with close to 24,000 downloads.

(The COVID YEARS)Tailgate Tours Begin
With indoor conferences and events canceled, Noble Warriors took discipleship outdoors and began the Tailgate Tours. The first tailgate was hosted at Parkway Baptist Church. Men gathered for a tailgate style dinner, played games, mingled, then moved to worship and two keynote speakers.
Iron Sharpens Iron Conference
Noble Warriors becomes an official host for the ISI conference at Southside Church of the Nazarene in Chesterfield, VA. 400 plus men attended the first conference, and by 2014 the conference attendance exceeded 2000 men. This strategic partnership led Noble Warriors to be recognized as the “Emerging Men’s Ministry of the Year” by the National Coalition of Ministries to Men.
Game Plan for Life with Joe Gibbs
1,000 men from 100 churches attend a major Noble Warriors event in the Richmond area. Joe Gibbs, former NFL football coach, gives his testimony and announces that God’s game-plan (the Bible) is his key to success. Dr. Tony Evans and author, Randy Alcorn were also speakers at this high impact event.
Men’s Fraternity Launched
Noble Warriors partners with Robert Lewis to champion the men’s discipleship series, 'Men’s Fraternity' by launching four groups. By the next year, 11 more groups started. In 2008, there were 39 groups. Men’s Fraternity was followed by '33 The Series' and then 'BetterMan,' all recommended Noble Warriors resources today.

Steve Dowdy Insurance sponsors Noble Warriors’ two-minute, regional visibility spot through AFR. The final spot was on November 12, 2010, but Noble Warriors partners still comment on the ministry’s radio presence today.
