Hello! I’m Alex and I want to tell you about my summer holiday. In August, I visited my grandma in the countryside. She lives in a small village with lots of trees, flowers, and animals. I stayed there for two weeks. Every morning, I helped my grandma in the garden. We watered the plants and picked tomatoes, cucumbers, and strawberries. My grandma makes the best strawberry jam! She taught me how to make it, and now I know the recipe. In the afternoon, I rode my bike around the village. I met some kids who live there, and we played football in the field. One day, we had a picnic near the river. We brought sandwiches, fruit, and lemonade. It was sunny and warm, and we even saw some ducks swimming. In the evening, I read books or played board games with my grandma. She told me stories from when she was young. One night, there was a big storm, and the power went out. We lit candles and talked until the lights came back. I didn’t miss the city at all. It was peaceful, fun, and I learned a lot. I hope I can go again next summer!

Last Saturday, the Brown family went hiking in the mountains. There were five of them: mom, dad, and their three children – Lily, Max, and Ben. The weather was sunny and perfect for a trip. They started early in the morning and walked along a forest path. Lily said, “I love the fresh air!” Max took photos of trees and birds. Ben, the youngest, ran ahead and laughed a lot. After two hours, they stopped for lunch near a big rock. They ate sandwiches and drank water. Then they continued walking up the hill. Suddenly, Ben slipped on a small stone and fell. He hurt his ankle and couldn’t stand up. “Ouch! My foot hurts!” he cried. Dad checked his leg and said, “We need help.” Mom called the mountain rescue team on her phone. After 30 minutes, a doctor arrived with a small rescue car. He looked at Ben’s ankle and said it was only a sprain. “You’ll be fine in a few days,” he smiled. They drove Ben down the mountain, and the rest of the family walked back slowly. It was a scary moment, but everyone stayed calm. At home, Ben got ice cream and watched cartoons.

Last weekend, Mia and her friends went to a music festival in the city park. There were four of them: Mia, Jake, Zoe, and Leo. The weather was warm and sunny, and the park was full of people. They listened to live bands, danced, and ate pizza. Everyone was having fun. Mia took lots of photos with her phone. “This is the best day ever!” she said. Later, they sat on the grass to rest. Mia wanted to check her messages, but her phone was gone. “Where’s my phone?” she asked. They looked around, but didn’t see it. Jake said, “Maybe you dropped it near the food trucks.” They ran back and asked people. A woman said, “I saw a phone on the bench.” They went there, but it wasn’t Mia’s. Leo called Mia’s number. They heard a ringtone near the stage. Zoe ran and found the phone under a chair. “I got it!” she shouted. Mia smiled and said, “Thank you! I thought it was lost forever.” They laughed and went to see the last band. It was a crazy day, but everything ended well.
