Beyblade

This season of Beyblade is pure nostalgia. Watched it twice already, and is impossible to not laught about how silly it is and I tought it was really deep back in my teenage days xD The beyblade battles are the lest impressive of the franchise, but they have some charm on them. Is probably the nostalgia factor, but it seems to me that, even with the traditional animated bey battles, they suit it better than the new digital animated ones! Oh well, is a good comfort anime, it might has their faults, but for me is clearly a 10 stars.

Blue Period

Blue Period is pure poetry. A honest travel from a art student prespective. Is not romanticised, is crude and true. The pain of every art student is represented in this piece of media. Besides the evident art theme, there is also a big focus on acceptance during the anime and how do we see ourselfs. The characters express it a lot by acts, words, and of course, art. I highly recomend Blue Period to all the lost artists around the world, they will find some place in their heart for this show.

Sasaki and Miyano

Another queer media, and this one seems to not have that much Red Flags. But of course, this anime is about two straight guys trading BL in a completly heterosexual way. There is NOTHING gay here. Is really cute how they come together in a slow pace and how Sasaki respects Miyano time on doing things and realise what he is feeling. Also, the dub is amazing and is worth watching.

Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It

An interesting aproach of love by a science geek individual. The anime is super cute and funny. The main couple is a pair of nerds that deserve each other, is visible since the beggining, and the rest of the lab are really nice support characters. I love how they go through the difficulties of doing a thesis and do it in a fun way, from choosing the theme of the paper to the presentation of it. But of course, trying to prove love is something way more complex than just a master thesis xD

Sk8 the Infinity

What a piece of a Bromance we have here! Can I say this sports anime is just about two friends that are close bros that want to skate together forever? Yes, I can. But really? This anime is really cute, and could be easly queer coded. But besides that, is a really heart warming anime about a true and honest relationship between two guys. And the skate part? Yeah, defenetly is there, still an anime about pretty boys skating. But has some deep bromance in it.

Stars Align

Star Align is a piece of media that is not only a sport anime, is a deep drama about middle schoolers with their problems. And God, wich problems they have. From a disfunctional family until a queer dilema, this boys have deep storys and is tennis that unite them. Is way more than an anime about middle schoolers playing tennis. Unfortunatly, there is no secons season of it, and probably never will, so we need to deal with an open ending :')

Steins; Gate

Steins; Gate is a sci-fi/slice of life romance that explodes your mind completly. This is not only about time travelling, is about love and friendship. How a group of friends is able to sacrifice themselves for a big cause and love will always find a way if it is meant to be. A great story that, when finished, feels acomplished, feels justified and smart. While in the second watch, is possible to spot diferent things that scaped the first time and make so much sence. The romance my teenage years asked for and recieved.

Twilight Out of Focus

Not the best BL I ever watched, but still a good time. The third couple is toxic, in my opinion, doesn't make sence the way the relationship goes and some behaviours are clear red flags. Meanwhile, the first couple is really cute and saved the anime for me. They are the highschool love hearts that everybody likes. The second couple... I guess they exist. A mutual respect between them. There is also a film club going on, but if you came only for that you might be desapointed...
