eero App
The eero app makes it simple to create new networks or add additional eeros to an existing network. It guides you through each step and includes a placement test for secondary units to ensure optimal coverage. As part of setup, technicians must enter the customer’s information to send an invite. This step is required so the customer can:
- Accept eero’s terms and conditions
- Access their network settings
- Enable eero Plus or eero Secure features
The customer will then receive an email prompting them to:
- Download the co-branded eero app
- Create an account
- Complete the network link using the same information provided by the technician

Starting a New Network
Click the Account Holder IS Present to get started.
Account Holder IS or IS NOT Present
Step 1: Prepare for the Installation
- Before stating ensure you have:
- A mobile device with Bluetooth and data access
- The eero mobile app installed
- Technician login credentials
- At least one eero gateway device
- Active internet service and modem/ONT
📌 Note: Be sure to scan all eero devices—including hardware, plugs, and accessories.

Step 2: Log In and Start Setup
- Open the eero mobile app
- Log in using your technician account

- Follow the app’s guided setup to:
- Connect the eero gateway to the modem
- Power on devices and confirm placement
- Name the network and set a secure password
- Add additional eero to the network
- Click here for more details instructions - then return this course to continue

Step 3: Link to Customer At the end of setup, the app will ask to link the network to the customer.
- Enter the customer’s name, email, and phone number
- Review and confirm the info
- An email invite is sent to the customer to create their eero account and accept the network link
- The app will switch to the Home screen and display the network
- Technicians will have access to the network for 48 hours after network creation
NOTE: Customers must use the same email/phone to create their account for successful linking.
Account Holder IS NOT Present
Step 1: If the Account Holder isn't present you will follow these steps:
- Enter the customer’s name, email, and PRIMARY phone number
- Review and confirm the info
- An email invite is sent to the customer to create their eero account and accept the network link
NEVER CLICK "I don't have my customer's information" you will use the name, email and PRIMARY phone on C Spire's account
Account Holder IS NOT Present
Step 2:
- Select Settings from the Home screen
- Enter a default Wifi name and password NOTE: Be sure to record this information on your leave-behind card
- Select the ellipsis in the upper right corner
- Select to Link to Customer

- Select Network SSID in upper left corner
- This gives the option to select a different network if multiple networks are still being monitored
- The “Add a network" button will start the eero network setup process
