Le passé continu (Past Continuous) : est utilisé pour exprimer une action en cours dans le passé ou bien une formule polie. Il se construit avec : Sujet + were / was à la 3ème personne du singulier + verb + ing Exemple : I was calling to follow up/ J’appelais pour faire suite (à notre conversation)
