Installing Krita

1. Download the app

CLICK

Click this link:

If you're on Windows, click Windows Installer

If you have a Mac, click on macOs Installer

Wait for the download to complete!

2. Starting the installation

• Double-click on the downloaded file to start the installation.

• Click "Next" in the window that opens.

• In the installer language selection, select English and click "OK".

• We'll see the info about the current version of Krita. Simply click "Next".

3. Continuing the installation

• Check out the licence agreement, tick the "I accept the terms of the License Agreement" checkbox, and click "Next" to continue.

• Next, we need to select where the app will be installed in.To change the installation location, click "Browse". After selecting the folder, click "Next" and move to the next menu.

4. Continuing the installation

• Select all the installation component and click "Next"

• Check out another User Agreement and click "I Agree".

5. Continuing the installation

• Click "Next".

• Tick the checkbox if you want the installation link on your desktop and click "Install".

• Wait for the installation to complete

6. Completing the installation

• Once the installation is complete, click Next.

• Okay, click Finish to wrap it up! And with that, the installation is complete!

7. Double-check!

• Locate the Krita icon on your desktop. Take a screenshot of it and send it to the chat room.

• Double-click on the icon and wait for the app to open. If it opens, you have completed the installation successfully! Well done!
