Description

Those who ascend the holy stairway above Loch Seld to pray are sometimes blessed by the sight of a mighty hawk. At first, these travelers would return to their homes filled with religious fervor and hope for the omen they had received and go about their lives, oft noted for being blessed there after. Recently, those who have seen this omen and attempt to journey home are never seen again. Rumors are spreading that rogue monks of the Fist of Rhalgr are challenging these travelers to see if they are worthy of Rhalgr's blessing. While unable to venture out and investigate, Ragnarr Crowther has called for strong adventurers to go and challenge these monks in turn to bring peace to the pilgrims.

Description

Relna Husanes has made it her life's work to rescue beasts. Whether trafficked, sickly, or left motherless by carless hunters. She has recently amassed enough gil to open up her own animal sanctuary, Relna's Rehab, and rescues have been flooding in to the point she doesn't have enough hands. Relna is making a call for all interested (and able) adventurers to foster some of her less fussy guests for a week to help with their socialization, and promises to pay a fair wage. If the process proves particularly fruitful, Relna's indicated she is open for adopting out her animals for those who are fit.

Description

Chief Serpent Sergeant Merida Carrowen has gotten reports of slackers shirking their training at The Bannock. This she will not abide. Climb to the vantage point overlooking the training grounds and for every initiate spotted not bent to the task of perfecting their combat skills, you are requested to challenge the Training Captain to a duel. The goal is to shame them by beating them so thoroughly for each recruit slacking that they remember the importance of their duties and teach others the lesson of Carrowen's displeasure.

Description

Aetherspurn hit Batbayar of the Dotharl without warning and without mercy. In the morning, he was hale and whole, helping the citizens of Ala Mhigo as he has since joining the liberating forces from Othard. In the afternoon, he was found in an alley, his newfound fever spiked and the prognosis grim. It is the custom of the Dotharl to die fighting, and in a final act of love for the people who have accepted him as one of their own, he wishes to die fighting the restless spirits of Bloodhowe and the Songs of the King in the Lochs. Batbayar seeks an experienced healer who can fortify him so that he may burn bright in his final moments, and the people of Ala Mhigo have quietly requested a return of his body.

Description

A thousand years of bloodshed and war are not so easily erased by truth and amnesty. There are those that still harbor in their hearts hatred for the cruel acts of the Dragonsong War and they fight viciously to tear apart the new order. One such group is a splinter cell of the Bloodbearers which have named themselves, unoriginally, the Sanguine Crusade. Consuming dragon's blood from an unknown source, they temporarily turn themselves into fierce hybrids. That they're all former soldiers of the war that defected make them all the fiercer. Find the source of their blood somewhere in the Bed of Bones, Western Coerthas, and stop their supply. Expect resistance.

Description

Something massive and foul terrorizes the residents of Upper La Noscea. Verified by Elena Redmyr when last she dove to collect artifacts in the bottom of the lake, she tells the tale of a beady eyed horror with a gaping maw and gormless stare. The rumor from the residents is that receiving a blessing from Oschon's sigil west of Bronzelake helps ward against the beast, though it's only available at night. Take the blessing, hunt the beast, in the depths, and bring an end to the nightmare of the small folk that they might be able to fish in peace finally. (( Continuation of "It Cames From The Ruins. The people of Crescent Cove have threatened to issue a formal complaint about my previous conduct in their settlement. Nothing horrendous, mind you; only belligerence. In order to amicably resolve the conflict without the need for a formal investigation into the actions I may or may not have taken that day, I have agreed to host a levequest in which the sole objective is to beat me bloody. Be forewarned; I'll not go without a fight. We battle until one of us drops with live steel and aether. If I lose, ensure appropriate damage done to satisfy their blood price. Just don't remove the mask. (( Accepting this will mean a 3 v 3 /random duel with Raine. ))

Description

An outbreak of the Creeping Death has afflicted the Redbelly Hive. Once a death sentence, the plague which once ravaged the Hyuran population can be cured if one has the experience or the medicine. The Redbellies have neither. They've made a request for a momentary ceasefire and the aid of chirurgeon or healer that would aid their Hyuran members, promising reward and favor, but there are those among the Twin Adder who would rather see this advantange utilized and the encampment wiped out. Officially, the Adventurer's Guild is staying out of it. Unofficially, this leve is sponsored by both the Redbellies and the Adders. Do what you think is right, adventurer.

Description

Injured on the field of battle, Ser Gafryde spent seven days in the care of a woodland hermit. On the day of his departure, the hermit interrupted the knight's words of gratitude - he had no need of thanks. What he wished was for Gadfryde to perform seven deeds in the name of justice. He himself had failed to act when action was called for, and thus, did he live apart, alone with his remorse. In seven years, Gafryde returned. Such is the beginning of Saint Gafryde's tale. It is a common trial for an aspiring Priest of Oschon to wander for seven years and perform at least seven righteous deeds of note. Your pilgrimage need only be seven days and have at least one righteous deed. Use it to contemplate what justice is to you and return to me when you've an answer.

Description

An anonymous arborist is looking to study three species of tree native to the Shroud. They hope to assist in expanding the damaged forests by understanding the root systems of various species as they germinate from seed through the first few years of life while under the influence of different aetheric conditions. For this they require three prime seeds of each species to sprout in various conditions. There are, however, extra complications as always there are. The Rosewood Grove in the East Shroud is watched over by the Sylphs and their fee may not be in gil or blood but rather in games and riddles. Gain access to the Grove and collect these perfect specimens.

Description

When it comes to deciding who's the fastest woodcutter in the forest, Buscarron's Druthers has more than a few times become the proving grounds for quick-tempered types with hatchets on their backs and a bit too much ale in their bellies. After growing weary of having to replace my poor establishment's furnishings following every bout, I proposed that the hot-headed cutters take their pissing contest to the trees, promising a hefty reward to whover brought back the most firewood. I certainly don't see aught wrong with a little friendly competition, as long as it keeps my cookfires hot while keeping the hall spruce. - Buscarron

Recent outbreaks of the Creeping Death, a plague which targets Hyur with a near total fatality rate if left untreated, have put a sharp demand on glimshrooms, one of the essential ingredients in the cure. Were we in Ul'dah, it would lead to a price hike like no other, but as it stands, the Twin Adders have stepped in to ensure that the steadily dwindling supplies are properly distributed. Find the glowing Glimshrooms growing on rock faces in the Shroud and harvest at least a fair dozen. You can hand off the bag either to myself - the levemete - or to the Twin Adders headquarters in Gridania.

White auracite. Extremely rare. Extremely valuable. Potentially extremely dangerous. There are few scholars I would trust to study and use the material, and Achelois the Inheritor is one of them. She's recently put out an all call for white auracite. With Sweet Mallow's recent announcement of a celebratory book tour for her bicentennial of writing, the Botanist Guild has been overwhelmed with requests for Mallow Flower bouquets to present to the romance author as a sign of affection from adoring fans. The demand is so high that the Guild worries about wild patches of the plant's many varities being pillaged and torn up, creating a terrible imbalance and even risking endangerment of the flower. Experienced botanists are asked to travel the realm to check on wild grwoths of mallow plants and ensure that they are not being tampered with. Force is authorized to remove any Plant Poachers.

No ordinary glass can withstand the Adventurer's Life: from being tossed around by goobbues to taking a slip down a hillside with one poorly placed step. Merchant Thodis of the Bluebell Collections requires a dozen glass vials that hold six onz of liquid, but they must be made with the aid of Dragon's flame upon the provided aethersand mix. While there is little room for error in the crafting as there's only so much mix available, the Merchant is well known for having an eye for both quality and beauty. Perhaps risking a little sand in an effort to create something more unique than simple glass containers would be a way to impress the Merchant for a bit more gil?

This levequest board is meant to facilitate RP and too often event planners like myself tend forgo IC connections in favor of quick OOC communication. Your character can write a letter to Raine to request a meet-up (which you can message me over Discord at raineronain) or you can keep an eye out on some of the open world events (like Buscarron's Druthers on Tuesdays!) that I try to frequent. Levequests are first come, first serve.
